Pentland javelin is a first early maturity potato variety, high yielding but with a tendency to bulk late. It has high resistance to potato virus Y and good resistance to common scab, damage and bruising. Resistant to potato cyst nematode Ro1. Moderately susceptible to tuber blight and spraing. Medium to low dry matter with firm cooked texture and good boiling quality.
