Maris Bard potato seed produce potatoes that have a white to cream flesh, a great boiler with a waxy texture. Produces a high yield with good size potatoes and good cooking qualities.[3]

Maris Bard have a moderate resistance to blight and common scab, but a poor resistance to potato cyst nematode.[3]
