Whitefly, comprising only the family Aleyrodidae, are small hemipterans. More than 1550 species have been described. Greenhouse Whitefly or Glasshouse Whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporarior) typically feed on tomato leaves and fruit.
Identifying Features[]
Leaves become pale and curled, foliage and fruit become sticky where black mould then grows disfiguring the surface.

- Fatty acids (Doff Greenfly and Blackfly Killer, Bayer Organic Pest Control
- Greenfingers Organic Pest Spray) or urea/mineral lattice (SB Plant Invigorator)
for established infestations. Resistance to deltamethrin and lambda cyhalothrin can occur.
